This project began with a cabinet I ended up owning by chance. That moment sparked a series of personal reflections on heritage, craft, and what it means to make with limited resources. As a Latin American design student in Europe, I started writing intuitively about migration, economic struggles, and how objects can hold and reflect those experiences.

The result is a book that explores design through scarcity. It’s made up of 126 A6 pages, laid out across 10 A2 riso master prints, using blue and black ink on EOS 90g off-white paper. 

The covers are made from scrap paper collected from the production process, and everything is hand-assembled using brass details. 

The illustrations were also turned into posters and distributed during Dutch Design Week 2023.
